CAROL ANNE KRYWY After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with extreme sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Carol at the age of 65. Carol passed away peacefully on April 25, 2006. Carol is survived by her husband of 40 years, William; sons, Christopher and Bruce; and daughter Maryann. She leaves to mourn her mother Doris Krys; and siblings, Joanne (Jack) McKinnon, Ernie (Eileen) Krys, Mary (Jim) Hill, William (Debbie) Krys, Larry (Susan) Krys and countless nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her father Leo Krys in 1993. Carol was born in The Pas, MB on November 24, 1940. It was there she lived and worked as a telephone operator until she met her husband and moved to Winnipeg in 1965. She chose the life of a homemaker and took great pride in raising her family. One of her greatest enjoyments was Sunday lunch outings with her family that would end with rides along the countryside. She was a wonderful wife and mother who will be dearly missed and never forgotten. The family wishes to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre, CancerCare and St. Boniface Hospital for all the help and support through this difficult time. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Donations in Carol's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
