Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE EDWARD STASKA May 6, 1932 - April 25, 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce Lawrence's passing on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 with his family by his side. Lawrence grew up in Brokenhead, MB. In 1961 he married Hilda (Hintz) and together they raised their daughter Heather in East St. Paul. Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his wife Hilda; daughter Heather (Yvon Remillard); granddaughters, Jocelyne and Justine; two brothers, Willard (Nettie) and Bernie (Alice); one sister Eleanor (John Weber); as well as Hilda's family, Len and Elsie Schreyer, Guenter and Hertha Jahn, Ron and Marie Hintz, Tabea (Hugo Kamenz) and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, Friday, April 28 at 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church, 300 Donalda Ave. on Saturday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A special thanks to Dr. C. Yaffe, Dr. R. Kippen, Dr. C. Olweny, Dr. M. Krahn, Dr. Renner, Rose and Vicki for all their compassion and care. A special thank you also to Rev. Owen Steeves, Br. Jorge Villegas and Rev. John Melynk for their spiritual guidance. Donations may be made to the Liver Foundation (Manitoba Chapter) or a charity of one's choice.
