BUSTER RAYMOND HUNTER June 7, 1975 - April 22, 2006 Beloved partner of Melodee Ceicko and beloved son of Rev. Bob and Carol Hunter passed away peacefully at his home in Winnipeg on April 22, 2006. Buster was born in Calgary, AB and lived in Calgary, Airdrie, Wainwright, AB and in Moose Jaw, SK where his father was the United Church Minister. Buster graduated from Lord Beaverbrook High School in Calgary as an Honour Student and received a Rutherford Scholarship to attend the University of Calgary. Buster loved animals. He enjoyed spending time golfing, canoeing, bowling and collecting cards and coins. He served as Secretary of the Calgary Numesmatic Society in Calgary and as Web Master, he designed their website. He moved to Winnipeg where he was a valuable volunteer for the Mood Disorder Association of Manitoba. He also volunteered for Operation Rednose. He received a Heroes of Mental Health Award for his work in the area of mental health recovery and as Residential Facilitator. He was currently employed at Seneca House continuing his work in this field. He was to marry Melodee on July 15, 2006. He leaves to mourn his parents Rev. Bob and Carol Hunter; his sister Eileen; his partner Melodee and her daughter Ainslie; parents Diane and Reid Hinds; his uncles Ian Hunter and Rick McGee; his aunts Marion Parker and Diana McGee; and his special cousins Leanne and Graham Grieves. He was predeceased by his grandfathers George Hunter and Ray McGee and his nanny Eileen Jones McGee. If friends so desire contributions in Buster's memory may be made to Seneca House, 283 Provencher Blvd., Winnipeg, R2H 0G6 or to Manitoba Moods' Association, 100 - 4 Fort St., R3C 1C4, in lieu of flowers. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at the Waskada, MB Cemetery on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Lunch to follow in the Waskada Legion Hall. Clarkes Funeral Home of Gladstone, MB (385-2274) in care of arrangements.
