MARIE (VERL) LAVALLEE November 12, 1926 April 25, 2006 Marie Lavallee of Dauphin, MB, formerly of Crane River, MB passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the Dauphin Regional Hospital at the age of 79 years. Marie was born and raised in Crane River, MB. Marie spent most of her life as a stay at home mom, raising her children. She was a hard working woman and took pride in her daily cooking and cleaning. Mom always prepared special meals for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her spare time consisted of Bingo or visiting with her relatives on the phone. She enjoyed watching her special TV stories on a daily basis. Mom enjoyed her special visits with her children. She went on numerous trips to Flin Flon to visit Angus, Ebb Flow to visit Richard and Winnipeg to visit Wilma and Claudette. She also enjoyed her visits to her brothers and sisters of whom she was very close to. Mom was very proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step grandchildren. She loved them all dearly and will be missed by every one of them. Mom was predeceased by her daughter Verna; son Melvin; parents, Angus and Cecile Moar; brother Leo Moar; sister Lena Boss; grandson Angus Jr. and two great- grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her son Angus (Linda) of Flin Flon; daughter Wilma (Bob) of Winnipeg; son Richard (Edith) of Ebb Flow; daughter Claudette McKenzie of Winnipeg; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; brothers, Sidney (Sharon), Russell (Eileen) of Crane River and Nelson (Martha) of Winnipeg; sisters, Elsie of Winnipeg and Delores (Johnny) of Crane River as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Prayers were held at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Crane River on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Crane River on Friday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Crane River Cemetery. Father Paul Tinguely as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Ashley Lavallee, Terry Morrisseau, Mark Lavallee, Wade Lavallee, Melvin Lavallee, Jessie Lavallee and Eric Lavallee. If family and friends so desire, donations in Marie's memory can be made to the Dauphin Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 625 3 Street S.W., Dauphin, MB R7N 1R7. A special thanks to granddaughter Tracy, sister Delores, nieces Lorraine and Jeanna who helped mom during her stay in Dauphin. Rest in Peace Mom, it gives us pleasure to know that you will be reunited once again with Verna, Duck, grannie, grampa, uncle Leo and auntie Lena.
