BEATRICE CHOCHINOV Unexpectedly on April 6, 2006, Bea Chochinov passed away at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; brother and two sisters. Mourning her loss are her children, Bill (Laurie), Carol (Mark), Joy and her beloved grandchildren, Rayna-Shea, Trina, Catherine and Michael. Mom spent many years working alongside Dad in the family owned corner grocery store. She was also kept busy as a life member of Dvorah Drachler and a very active member of Stay Young, going on many trips with them. She had a passion for the arts and enjoyed going to the symphony, opera and theatre. Over the last number of years, Mom made many transitions and did so with dignity. Thank you to Dr. Maxwell, Dr. Kristjanson, the Seven Oaks Hospital and Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Pallbearers were Aubrey Himelstein, Paul Gerstein, Peter Mendelson and Barry, Perry and Bryon Chochinov. Donations can be made to Na'amat, Stay Young Centre or Jewish Child and Family Services.
