I met Larry, through friends, when I first moved to Vancouver in 1970. He was a man who had a good sense of humour and yes, it is true, a great laugh. He was great fun. Over the years our paths crossed on and off and we enjoyed the occasional movie and a few outings together. I remember one event when I was walking down W. Broadway and was feeling very sad. Larry pulled up in his Van and coaxed me to jump in. I did and started to cry. "Was it your fault?" he quired. "No", I said as I continued to cry. He offered to help me out during this difficult financial time but I never did follow through on his offer. Just knowing he was there made a huge difference to me. What a wonderful man he was. I was saddened to hear of his death and of his wife's loss. Many blessing to his family. Susan - Posted by: susan mcmillan (a friend) on: May 24, 2012
