BRIAN SEAN BARCLAY BIRT With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Sean Birt on April 26, 2006. Sean was born in Winnipeg June 19, 1976. He was an adventurous spirit who loved to travel and saw most of Canada from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. He spent the happiest summers of his life at LacLu, ON where he loved to water ski, swim and fish. He had a passion for bicycles from his Big Wheel to BMX and mountain bikes. He enjoyed entertaining, so the hospitality industry was a natural fit. He was self taught on computer assembly and was a quick study in many things from auto mechanics to theatre. He expressed his lifelong artistry from early dinosaur drawings and Lego masterpieces to culinary delights such as Tandoori Chicken that he prepared for the family at New Year's. Sean was generous, fun-loving and had a terrific sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by his mother Ellen Hartle (Pat Layne), father Brian Birt (wife Lina), sister Jamie, nephew Jeremy, wife Michelle Jarecki, grandfather Charlie Birt and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Sharyn Lubinsky for her wise counsel and loving kindness to Sean. Memorial funeral service will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 3 St. Vital Rd. at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2. Canon Bob Webster will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
