LAURIE ELINOR RONDEAU nee MACPHERSON January 1, 1961 - April 27, 2006 FOREVER YOUNG It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Surrounded by her loving husband and family, Laurie Elinor Rondeau passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 45. Laurie was born in Winnipeg on New Year's Day in 1961. She lived in North Kildonan, and attended Miles Macdonell Collegiate. There she met her soul mate Lenny, who became her husband. She earned a nursing certificate from the St. Boniface School of Nursing, and then worked as a nurse for 17 years at the Concordia Hospital. She was active with the Job's Daughters from 1974 to 1980, and served as Honored Queen in 1979. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Lenny, their daughter Brittany, and her mother Merle MacPherson. She was predeceased by her father James MacPherson. Left to mourn are her brother Jamie MacPherson (Sherry); her sister Jennifer Troughton (Norm); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. We wish to thank the staff of Riverview for their kindness and caring during the last days that Laurie endured. A celebration of her life will be held at John Black United Church, 898 Henderson Highway, at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 3.
