MARILYN ALMA TAYLOR (nee SINCLAIR) Peacefully, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer at the Concordia Hospital, Marilyn Alma Taylor, aged 64 years. Marilyn was born on December 27, 1941 in Selkirk, MB to Kenneth and Rose Sinclair and was a member of the St. Peter's Peguis Reserve. She attended residential school in Fort Alexander and St. Mary's in Kenora. Marilyn worked at the Selkirk Mental Health Center, Electroknit and for the Town of Selkirk for 15 years. She came from a very large family and enjoyed spending time visiting and talking on the phone with family members. Marilyn was a generous person who often put others ahead of herself and touched the hearts of all she met. She will be greatly missed. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, her husband Neil and brothers, Miles, Larry, Lloyd and Derek. She is survived by daughter Cheryl (Wayne); stepsons, Ken (Sandy) and Darrell; grandchildren, Jolene (Douglas), Nicole (Lance), Corrinne, Devon, Kimberly (Desmon), Mark (Shannon), Candace, Alicia, Aaron and Ian; great-grandchildren, Cody, Caylin, Kalista, Jade, Alexis, Kiya, Natalie, Riley, Kaiden, Desmon, Kristian and soon to be born baby. She is also survived by her brother Jim (Darlene) Sinclair and sisters, Beverley Sinclair and Valerie (Pee-Wee) Mostowy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special niece, Carol Gibson. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m., also in the chapel. Cremation will follow. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to CancerCare MB, 675 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
