FRANCES HELEN SCHELL Peacefully on April 29, 2006 at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital in Sidney, BC at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Mervin and her sister Eileen she is survived by daughter Heather (Jim) Flanigan of Burlington, ON; son Spencer (Liisa) Schell of Winnipeg; 5 grandchildren, Jeff, Patti (Darren), Raina {Ryan}, Maija (Chris) and Merritt and two great-grandchildren, Kira and Cali . Mom had a wonderful life whether she was travelling, enjoying the family cottage at Falcon Lake or the company of her many friends. She loved to do flower arrangements, water colours and portraits. She always enjoyed a good game of cribbage, and for one of the family to beat her was a very rare occurrence. Cremation has taken place and as were her wishes, a private service will be held . The family would like to thank the staff of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital for their dedicated and caring attention toward Frances over the last several months . In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances' memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to a charity of one's choice . First Memorial Funeral Services, Victoria, BC.
