KENNETH GERALD JOHNSON Peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2006 Kenneth Gerald Johnson passed away at the age of 70 years. He was predeceased by his father A. Ernest, son David Peter Johnson and brother Stuart Johnson. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife Betty of Portage la Prairie; son Ray (Bonnie) Johnson of Fort McMurray, AB; daughter Doreen (Brian) Giesbrecht of Calgary, AB; grandson Christopher (Chelsea) Johnson with great-granddaughter Jersey Ray Johnson all of Fort McMurray; grandsons, Kevin (Nichola) Giesbrecht and David Giesbrecht all of Calgary, AB; mother Geraldine Johnson of Portage la Prairie; sisters, Delores (Russell) Muirhead of Douglas, MB and Beverley (Gerald) Olmstead of Carberry, MB; brothers, Wayne Johnson of Portage la Prairie, Gary (Shirley) Johnson of Fort McMurray, Murray Johnson of Brandon, MB and Dwight (Darcie) Johnson of Portage la Prairie along with many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Tuesday, May 2 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at McKenzie United Church, 85 11th Street NW, on Wednesday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Marg Scott officiating. Interment is to follow the reception at the family plot in Austin Cemetery, Austin, MB.
