Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADRIEN MARTELL April 9, 1921 April 29, 2006 It is with great sorrow the family of Mr. Adrien Martell of Winnipeg announces the passing of their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather after a lengthy illness on April 29, 2006. Dad leaves to cherish his loving memory his four daughters, Gladys Harel (Arthur), Yvonne McMahon (Wayne), Jeanne Chabot (Archie Sr.), Dianne Hornick (William); his grandchildren, Arthur Jr. (Diane), Steve (Mary), Sandy (Bernard), Pam (Steve), Trish (Kurtis), Archie Jr. (Liz), Brenda (Jon), Darlene (Walter), Brad (Joanna); his great-grandchildren, Colleen, Shawn, Kevin, Dustin, Brianne, Chelsey, Jennifer, Heather, Derek, Adrien, Landon, Logan, Leland, Nicholas, Faye, Edward, Amber, Cole; one sister Edna Mortlock; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rolande (1993); parents, Emilie and Joseph Martel; seven brothers, Albert, Noel, George, Marcel, Evanglist, August, Andrew; two sisters, Marion and Olive. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Thomson In The Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A Christian mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 4 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. with Rev. Dr. Patrick A. Morand presiding. Lunch to follow. Pallbearers will be Arthur Harel Jr., Steve Harel, Archie Chabot Jr., Brad Hornick, Kurtis Holmstrom, and Steve McCulloch. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Davey and the staff at the St. Boniface General Hospital Ward 6E. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Adrien's memory to a charity of one's choice.
