Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCIS (FRANK) ROBERT MURRAY of Minaki, Ontario Suddenly on Thursday, April27, 2006 after a wonderful winter in British Columbia, Dad's life tragically ended in a motor vehicle accident. Frank was born December 16, 1925 in Liverpool, England. He served in the Royal Navy in the Second World War. Frank married Betty October 11, 1949 and together they had two sons, Michael and Rob. Dad immigrated to Canada in 1953 and in 1955 was joined by his family. Over the years the family expanded with the addition of three more children, Grace, Susan and Tom. Minaki became home where Dad worked in the construction industry and was self-employed as a carpenter until his retirement. Frank was happy in Minaki. His life included his family as well as hunting, fishing, kayaking and dancing. In later years he enjoyed the company of his good friend, Doris Thorburn. In 1993, Frank was predeceased by his wife Betty. He will be sadly missed by his children, Michael, wife Jacque and their children Dana and Daniel; Rob, wife Sue and their children Robyn and Holly; Grace and good friend Butch; Susan, husband Jinx and their children Jordan and Riley; and Tom and his daughter Lauren. Frank will also be missed by his sister-in-law Joyce Riley and his two sisters, Betty and Edna and their families. As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel in Kenora. If friends so desire, one of Dad's favourite charities was the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, 21 Sylvan St. W., Kenora, ON P9N 3W7 or to a charity of your choice.
