PAUL KRASNY Peacefully, on Saturday, April 29, 2006, Paul Krasny passed away. Paul was predeceased by his son Matthew and daughter Mary. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife of more than 60 years, Ann; his sons, Peter and wife Karen, Alexander and wife Rachelle and Michael and fiance Jane. He will be greatly missed by his grandsons, Jonathon, Robert, Ryan, Matthew, Michael and Mark. Paul was born on October 12, 1919 in Horodnyzja, Ukraine. He met Ann at the end of the Second World War. They were married in Belgium in 1951. Paul and Ann raised their family in the North End of Winnipeg and spent many happy years in their Bannerman home. For the past several years, Paul and his wife Ann have resided at the St. Mary the Protectress Villa. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their dedicated care during the past two months. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 3 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., with Rev. Fr. Michael Smolinski, C.Ss.R. officiating.
