Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE CRAIG SHADLOCK On Sunday, April 30, 2006, Anne Shadlock, formerly of Teulon, passed away at the Stonewall Hospital. Survived by her son George and wife Olga; three grandchildren, Candi, Cassi Jo, and Michael; sister Margaret of Scotland and niece Margaret (Tom) of Scotland; sister-in-law Mary Tataryn of Winnipeg and nephews, Billy and Edward Tataryn. Predeceased by her husband Michael in 1991 and son John in 2003. Anne was born in Scotland on September 26, 1924. She met her husband Michael while he was serving in the war in Europe. She returned to Canada with Michael as a warbride and lived in the Teulon area most of her life. Anne faced the many hardships in her life with determination and a smile. She brought with her from Scotland a strong Protestant work ethic which she instilled in her children. Anne was always there for her family and supported everything they did. Her pride and joy was her garden. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Teulon United Church. Rev. Allison Halstead will officiate. Interment will follow in the Windsor Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at Rosewood Lodge, Red River Place Care Home in Selkirk and the Stonewall Hospital for their wonderful care and support. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Stonewall or Teulon Hospital. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
