OLGA ORBANSKI On Sunday April 29, 2006 our dear Mother and Grandmother Olga Orbanski went into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ. Leaving to mourn her passing are her children; Murray and (Violet) and their children Edward (Cindy), Bruce (Laurie), Cory (Rachel), Lorne and (Lorraine) and their children Laurel (Martin), Lorna, Lee, Donna and (Edward) Jerome and their children Rhonda (Luke), Todd (Julie), Bob (Lora) and Bob's children Steven (Kerry), Heidi (Dale), Christie (Justin), and Lenore (Ross) Olafson and their children Jonathan, Brett and Lauren. Eighteen great- grandchildren, sister-in-law Stella Tyluk, brothers-in-law Roy and Stanley Orbanski. Her eldest son Edward in 1957 and her husband Walter predeceased her in 1994. Our Mom was born February 18, 1918 in the Jaroslaw area. She married the love of her life, Walter, in 1936 and made their home on the farm in Hnausa. They raised six children and together built a successful fishing, farming and heavy construction business. She was a devoted Christian and was well known for her kindness and compassion. No one ever left her house with an empty stomach or empty soul. Mom loved to sing and could often be heard while she tended her massive flower beds and vegetable gardens. She adored her grandchildren and knew each one of them intimately, always offering them sound advice. Our family would like to extend our deep appreciation to the Arborg District Health Centre Staff who cared for Mom with the utmost respect, compassion and tenderness. Interment will be on Saturday, May 6 with Pastor Tom Gerbrandt officiating. A Service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Arborg Christian Fellowship Church (corner of River Road and Jacob Line). Our Mom had a great interest in Children's Ministry therefore in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arborg Christian Fellowship Church Sunday School Program. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15 Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
