PRESTON (PAT) LENNOX SR. Peacefully, on April 26, 2006, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family, Pat passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 74 years. Left to treasure is memory is his beloved wife Joyce; his children, sons, Pat, Preston (Maryann), Larry (Kim) Tim (Margaret), Mike (Rhonda); daughters, Vicky (Peter) Allard, Doreen (Brian) Smith, Carol (Ross) Bannatyne, Dale (Steve) Buck, Karen (Andre) Trudell; grandchildren, Kim (Darren), Jay (Michelle), Cinnamon, Chris, Wayne, Shane, Natalie, Carly, Preston (PJ), Jason, Jessica, Chelsey, Aurora, Brendan, Carter, Lance; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Aymee, Allee, Troy Trina, Aiden, Nicholas and Emerson, Brothers Neil (Winnie), Raymond (Claudia); sisters, Shirley Hamilton, Jean (Walter) Williams, Bev (Blanchard) Nickerson, Gloria (Joe) Israel; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his late wife Pearl; his parents, Arthur and Hilda; brother Basil; brother-in-law Dick Hamilton. Pat was born December 7, 1931 in Lower Argyle, NS, raised in Pubnico, NS. He enlisted in the military, serving in Korea with the RCHA, served in Winnipeg, Shilo and Germany, retiring in 1977 as a Master Warrant Officer. He stayed actively involved with the Korean Vets. Pat and Joyce moved to Lac Du Bonnet where Pat fulfilled a life long dream of spending his retirement fishing, golfing and travelling. Pat was an avid fisherman and hunter achieving numerous master angler award certificates. He was an active member of the Lac Du Bonnet Legion, Ducks Unlimited, Korean Veteran's Association and Pioneer Club of Lac Du Bonnet. His family was his life; he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A memorial service in Pat's honour will be held at Assiniboine Christian Centre (St. Chads) 3390 Portage Ave., May 8 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. John's Anglican Church in Lac du Bonnet, plant a tree in Pat's honour or a charity of your choice.
