HELEN YURKOWSKI (nee STUPACK) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, sister, aunt and friend. Surrounded by her loving son and family, Helen peacefully passed away on May 1, 2006 at the age of 72 years. Helen was born on January 29, 1934 in Brokenhead, MB to John and Elsie Stupack where she was raised and educated. Helen married Paul Yurkowski in 1953 and they raised one son Albert who was their pride and joy. Helen's hobbies were gardening and handicrafts. Her favourite pastime the last few years was watching and listening to sports. She also looked forward to special holidays when she could have everyone over for dinner. Helen was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1993 and also by her mother and father, John and Elsie Stupack. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her son Albert; brothers and sisters, Edward (Elaine) Stupack, Adeline (Ernie) Anderson, Don (Yvette) Stupack and Lillian (Joe) Lesocky. Our deepest appreciation and thanks to all the Oakbank home care staff that have gone beyond the call of duty. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster. Private interment will follow at a later date.
