AUDREY EILEEN HEBERT Embraced in her husband's arm's and surrounded by her family, Audrey Hebert passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 47 years, Maurice; children, Deb (Randy), Ron, Val (Arne), Brian, Wendy, Barb (Matt) and Dave (Claire); 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret and Florence; and her brother John. She was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Daisy Mackay; her brother Melvin; and sisters, Irene, Gladys and Joyce. Audrey was born in Winnipeg on January 9, 1939 and was raised in Petersfield, MB. She had a special love for children, fostering over 80 children in the past 35 years. Audrey was always the one to help anyone in need. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Jon Coutts officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunara Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Hunter Memorial Hospital in Teulon. You are all very special people. Also, thanks to all who visited Audrey and bought her comfort and joy. In lieu of flowers, donation in Audrey's memory can be made to the Hunter Memorial Hospital.
