MARION ROSE SWAN February 12, 1928 - May 3, 2006 Peacefully with her family by her side Marion passed away on Wednesday May 3, 2006 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 78 years. Marion leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Welby (Linda), Norman (Patti), Allan (Lisa); daughter Lorna (Tom); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband George. At Marion's request there will be no funeral. There will be a luncheon for family and friends on Saturday May 6, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 714 Melrose Avenue West to celebrate her life. In tears we saw you sinking We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence And fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be, So he put His arms around you And whispered Come with Me. So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back To suffer that again.
