COME DUGAS Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on May 2, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Côme Dugas, aged 78 years, husband of the late Alma Rose Dugas, passed away. Côme was predeceased by his loving wife Alma Rose in 2001. He leaves to mourn his passing four daughters, Jocelyne (Allen), Lise (Brian), Jeanette (Marius) and Rachel (Jean-Jacques); two sons, Gilles (Louise) and Robert (Irene); three sisters, Jeanne (Lucien), Thérèse (Laurent) and Anna (Rochon); one brother Hector (Gabrielle); and one sister-in-law Alice. He is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Roméo (Thérèse) and Edouard (Lilliane); two sisters-in-law, Laurette Lacroix and Lucille Manaigre; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Alma Rose, Côme was also predeceased by his parents, Ildas and Clementine; two brothers, Alphonse and Gérard; sister Jacqueline; sister-in-law Alice; and brothers-in-law, Alain Rochon, Albert Lacroix and Emile Jeanson. Funeral service was held 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Côme's memory to Cancercare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to Palliative Care, St. Boniface General Hospital, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
