NETTIE YACHNICKI (nee KALYNIUK) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Nettie Yachnicki (nee Kalyniuk) on May 2, 2006. Nettie has left behind those who truly loved and respected her: two daughters, Gina Yachnicki (Cliff) and Tia Beakley (Mark), along with her two grandsons, Barrett Mazur (Brenda) and Jared Beakley. She also leaves behind her granddaughter Heather Epp and her very special great-granddaughters, Sadie and Roxy. Nettie was born one of five sisters, Anne, Elsie, Evangeline, Adele and three brothers, Danny, Alec, Edward to parents of Katy and Bill Kalyniuk of Rossburn, MB on March 12, 1926. Nettie loved her children and grandchildren and was very proud of her great-grandchildren. She had a kind and giving heart, and a great love of nature. Nettie had a wonderful imagination, which was reflected in her passion for cooking, baking and crafting. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 220 Hespeler Avenue. Cremation has taken place and interment will occur at a later date.
