ARLENE CECELIA BRAUN (nee MARTELL) With sadness we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Arlene Braun at her home in Winnipeg on May 3, 2006 at the age of 73 years. Arlene was predeceased by her husband Abe; parents, Edna and Forrest Martell; sister Ione Trembley; and brother Marvin Martell. She leaves behind her sister Darlene Bell (Larry) of Humboldt, SK; brother Ron Martell of Port Alberni, BC and nieces and nephews; stepfamily, Ed Braun (Cecilia) of Norway House, MB Peter Braun (Brenda); grandchildren, Kyle and Erin Braun all of Winnipeg, MB Arlene married Abe late in life and while there time together was short, it was happy. She will be missed by her family and friends as well as her Legion buddies. The family expresses their thanks to the Emergency Services personal who attended at the house, for their compassionate and professional assistance and to her neighbour Marolyn Erhart for her friendship and support. Arlene's funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow United Church, corner of Harrow and Mulvey with Reverend Teresa Moysey officiating, interment will fallow in the Ascension Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. , Winnipeg.
