POLLY RUDNISKY Polly passed away peacefully at East Gate Lodge in Beausejour on Friday, May 5, 2006. Predeceased by her parents, Kondrat and Nettie Rudnisky, and one sister, Alice Dutka, she is survived by her sisters, Anne Marcinkow of Winnipeg and Helen Cormack of Willowdale, ON. Polly was a vibrant, classic lady serving on many boards and committees before and after her retirement from National Drugs where she worked for forty- six years. She was a member of the Rebekah Assembly of Manitoba, served on the Residents' Council of Lions Place and was a Resource Person at the Lions Club Housing Centre as well as a volunteer at the Craft Guild. Polly loved traveling and spending time with her family. Her sense of humour will never be forgotten by all her nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Rose and Shamrock Wings of East Gate Lodge which had been Polly's second home the last several years. The compassionate and loving care she received will never be forgotten. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Donations in Polly's memory may be made to East Gate Personal Care Home, 646 James Ave., Beausejour, MB. ROE OCO or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB. R3C 4G2.
