Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROYDEN ALBERT KROPP Memorial Service Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Noon Bethesda Lutheran Church It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Royden Albert Kropp. He entered Heaven's gates at 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2006 peacefully and with family by his side after a valiant battle with cancer. His amazing faith and courage were inspirational. He taught us all how to live and how to die. He was born October 19, 1941 in Pembroke, Ontario. He grew up in Pembroke and moved to Northwestern Ontario in 1963 after joining the Ontario Provincial Police. His first posting was to Emo where he met and married the love of his life, Sharron. He served the communities of Emo, Hudson, Sioux Lookout and Kenora with compassion, fairness and a strong desire to do what was right. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt and cruise Lac Seul and Lake of the Woods. More than anything, Royden cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Sharron, sons Dean and Rob, daughters-in-law Cathy and Cheryl, grandchildren Mitchell and Ally, twin brother Robert, mother-in-law Mildred Gaudry, brother-in-law Cliff Gaudry (Sharon), nephews Jay and Sean (Jennifer) and their mother Bernice, and sister-in-law Diane Green (Terry). He was predeceased by his parents William and Helena, brother Weldon, nephew Bartley, and father-in-law William Gaudry. A Memorial Service will be held at the Bethesda Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 11 at 12:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow immediately thereafter. At Royden's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family interment at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery following the luncheon. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Royden's memory may be made to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital (Palliative Care Unit or the Cancer Care Unit), 21 Sylvan Street West, Kenora, ON P9N 3W7, or to a charity of your choice. Miss Me, But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long And not with you head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me, but let me go. And when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me, but let me go. BROWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION CENTRE ENTRUSTED WITH ARRANGEMENTS
