TENA DAWSON Surrounded by the love and support of her family, Tena passed peacefully on May 7, 2006. Tena was predeceased by her husband Oscar. Tena is survived by her children, Ernie Dawson and Darlene Campbell, Inez and Jim Lillies,Bob and Patti Dawson; grandchildren, Shannon and Guy Lillemo, Tammy and Corey Pile, Reanne and Heather Dawson; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Sami, Becca, Willy Lillemo and Chayse Pile; sister Nel Kenny of Thunder Bay. Special friends, Dean, Sherri, James and Aidan Alexander, Garth, Kristin and Melody McCurdy. Kyle Campbell, Amanda Van Solkema and Shayne Campbell. Tena was born in Dauphin, MB January 22, 1918 to Dora and Mike Magalos. Tena moved to Winnipeg to find work, and found Oscar, the love of her life. They were married in 1946 following the war. Oscar and Tena then moved to the Argyle area, where they farmed until retirement and then moved to Stonewall. Tena's life's work was raising the children and helping to run the family farm. She will be sadly missed and ever remembered. Thank you to Dr. J. Mohamdee, Dr. Kanji and the staff at the Stonewall Hospital. Also thanks to the Home Care team for their many years of support as well as the Palliative Care team for caring and compassion. Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13 at the Brandt-Argyle Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Palliative Care, S.W.
