Therese will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters, Faith and Iris; grandchildren, Todd (Karen), Candace (Al); great- granddaughters, Kirstie and Kaitlin; sisters, Bertha, Dora (Henry); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Therese was predeceased by her husband, Edmund; her brother, Archie; and sisters, Adelma and Lydia. Therese was born in Melba, MB. She married Dad on October 9, 1940 and they farmed together for many years in the Rosenfeld and New Bothwell areas. After moving to Winnipeg, she worked as a cook for Woolco as she was passionate about cooking and baking. Mom enjoyed travelling very much to visit her family in Vancouver and travelling in Canada and Europe with her siblings. She liked to go shopping especially to Eaton's and The Bay with her friends. Special thanks to Dr. Maxwell, the caring staff at Pembina Place, the staff at Riverview and her many home care workers. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 13, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
