Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT W. HOOPER Peacefully Bob passed away on May 05, 2006 with his family by his side. He was predeased by his parents, his wife Marion (Whitmore); daughter Verna (Levesque); five brothers and one sister. Bob is survived by daughter Joan Betteridge (George); son Robert Hooper (Nancy); brothers, Stan, Earl and sister Alice; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Robert was born in Woodside, MB on July 29, 1911 and worked for CPR for many years until his retirement at 65. He was also in the Canadian Army at wartime and served overseas in England, France, Belguim, Holland, and Germany. He was a proud and honorable Mason with lodges, Strathclair P.M., Transcona #123, Kilcona #183 and one of the oldest lifetime members of Elmwood Legion #9. Dad, Grandpa and uncle Bob will be forever missed in our hearts. In honor of what would have been Bob and Marion's 70th wedding anniversary, a graveside service is planned for June 24, 2006 in Gladstone Cemetery, MB at 2:00 p.m. Donations would be appreciated to Manitoba Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Fund.
