She came from a pioneer family and in West Winnipeg there is a street named after her family. Anne grew up in St. Charles and lived in Charleswood until 1965 when she and Ernie relocated to Saskatoon. Anne was a very caring person and throughout her life she took many family members and strangers into her home and treated them as though they were her own children. For the past 3 ½ years Anne has resided at St. Ann's Home and every time asked she replied they treat me like a queen. Anne is loved and remembered by her daughters, Shirley (Norman) Ans of Winnipeg, SherryLee Hamilton of Regina, Shannon (Brian) Hickie of Saskatoon; sons, Arnold Morrissette of Winnipeg, Neville (Lori) Morrissette of Chilliwack, BC; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Ernie (1998); parents, John Jack and Mary Jane Isbister; brother, Clarence (Dianna) Isbister; Conrad (Ethel) Isbister; John (Irene) Isbister; son-in-law, Dave Hamilton; grandson, Randy Morrissette and 13 brothers-in-law and their wives. Special thanks to the entire staff at St Ann's and to Dr. Al-Katib for all the tender loving care given to our mother/grandmother. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 12, at 11:00 a.m from the Chapel of St. Ann's Nursing Home (2910 Louise St., Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L8) with Rev. Father Matthew Hertz, OMI as celebrant. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Ann's Senior Citizens Village or in son-in-law, Dave Hamilton's memory to the ALS Society of Saskatchewan (Box 31028, Regina, SK, S4R 8R6).
