ELIZA ANNA ST. GERMAIN (nee ALLARD) 1912-2006 Mother is a word that grows more precious through the years. Peacefully, surrounded by her family, our mother went to her eternal rest. She will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her sons, Gilles and Barbara of Ladysmith, BC, Marcel and Eileen of Birch River, MB, Claude of Winnipeg; her daughters, Joanne Bruce of Winnipeg, Lorraine St Germain of Winnipeg, Jackie and George Bonnett of Powell River, BC, Peggy and Eugene Keenan of Winnipeg. Her grandchildren, Marc Bruce of Winnipeg, Paul and Karen Bruce of Winnipeg, Kim Ward of St. Albert, AB, Donna Belyea of Victoria, BC, Leah Stewart (Bob Wickham) of Sechelt, BC, Sydney Bonnett (Jim Ernst) of Campbell River, BC, Edward St. Germain of Birch River, BC, Dawana St. Germain of Vancouver, BC, David St. Germain of The Pas, MB, Danielle Keenan of Winnipeg, Matthew Keenan of Winnipeg. She will also be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Sherry and Blake Holmston of Rapid City, MB, Reid and Evan Bruce and their mother Lori Hazel of Winnipeg, Shane, Justin, Rileigh and Lauren Bruce of Winnipeg, Jasmine, Joie, Nickolaus Belyea of Victoria, BC, Joey Ward of Toronto, ON, Alex and Rachel Ward of St. Albert, AB, Colby and Jordan Ernst of Campbell River, BC, Dawson St. Germain of Birch River, BC, Seth St. Germain of The Pas, MB; and her great-great-grandson Brock Holmston of Rapid City, MB, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Her sisters-in-law, Blanche Hales of Parksville, BC and Emma St. Germain of Roblin, MB. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) in September 1985, her father and mother, her sister and brother and one grandson, Henri Desrosiers. The family sincerely thank the staff of the Foyer Valade for the loving and excellent care given to our mother during the five years she resided there. Flowers gratefully declined. I would like to thank all of my brothers and sisters in helping me fulfill the promise to mom. Grandmother the keeper of memories and the maker of everyday miracles. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m., with prayers being said one hour prior, in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St. with Fr. Ron Leger the celebrant.
