DAVID BRYAN SWAIL
Date of Passing: May 09, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID BRYAN SWAIL On May 9, 2006, at home in Toronto in the comfort of immediate family, D. Bryan Swail died at the age of 79. He handled his final engagement with cancer with his customary iron will, his customary wit and his customary humour. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Binnie; children, Daniel, Sandra, William and David; grandchildren, Carrie, Christie, Amy, Geoffrey and Graeme; and his new great-granddaughter Olivia. Bryan is also survived by siblings, Eleanor (Dines) and James in Winnipeg and a host of loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Bryan worked hard, played hard and cultivated many friendships in his full life, from the early days in Winnipeg, to his founding of Westway Forwarding, and throughout his retirement years. He cherished every one of those friendships. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, Bryan wished that a contribution be made to a charity of your choice. There will be an informal gathering on Tuesday, May 16 at 1300 Islington Ave., Toronto at 4:00 p.m., in the Hospitality Room. All friends are welcome.
