MARIE JOSEPH TRUDEL (nee ROY) February 11, 1915 - May 10, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Marie Trudel, on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg. She will be lovingly remembered by her seven children, all of Winnipeg, Cecile, Denis (Olive), Ron, Janine (Ron), Doris (Gerald), Lorraine (Denis), and Henri; many grand-children and great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn her passing is her brother Raymond (Gilberte) of Montreal. Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Armand of 54 years and sister Rose Lariviere. Marie lived a full and active life that was deeply guided by her faith. She worked several years as a nurse's aide at the Children's Hospital, was an excellent seamstress and very skilled in the art of needlework. Her life centered on her home, husband and children. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Prayers will be said on Friday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Highway, followed at 11:00 a.m. by the Mass of the Resurrection with Rev. Father P.A. Morand officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Norbert Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be six of her grandsons. Many thanks to all the staff at the Foyer Valade for their kindness and loving care given to our mother and grandmother. Also, thank you to the Emergency Room staff at the Victoria General Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. Contributions may be made to the St. Vital Parish Church c/o Rev. Father P.A. Morand, 1629 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB. R3T 2G6. Reposez en paix, chère Maman. Vous avez toujours été le coeur de notre famille. On vous aime beaucoup. On pense à vous, on prie pour vous. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO.
