MARGARET MACKUS Margaret Mackus was born April 18, 1924 in Estaven, SK and passed away on May 11, 2006 in Grande Prairie, AB. She was predeceased by her husband Gust Mackus on April 2, 1999. Margaret is survived by her son Douglas (Lillian); three grandchildren, Robert, Carol, Eleanor (Walter) and four great-grandsons, Christopher, Ryan, Blaine and Kyle. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. The things we feel so deeply Are the hardest things to say But we your family loved you In a very special way. They say that memories are golden Well that may be true But, we never wanted memories We only wanted you. If tears could build a stairway And heartaches make a lane We'd walk the path to heaven And bring you home again. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again. Funeral date to be announced at a later date.
