PETER G. WALL After a courageous battle with cancer, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, Peter Wall, passed away on May 10, 2006. Peter was predeceased by his twin bother Andreas in 1984. He leaves to mourn his wife Katina; son Andreas; mother Helen; sister Helena (John), Tessa and Grant; in-laws Peter and Pat Tambakis; and numerous aunts, cousins and many good friends. Peter will also be missed by many of his friends and relatives throughout Germany including his sister Olga (Gerhard); and nephews Sasha, Victor and Eduard; as well as his cousin Ed (Irene). Peter was born in Russia on March 25, 1964. He came to Canada as a young man in 1978, and after university spent most of his career in the engineering and construction field. Peter could envision, design and build most anything. He was very knowledgeable on a vast array of topics and took great pleasure in always continuing to learn and grow. A great friend that loved his family very much and touched the lives of those he met. We will miss you Peter and you will always be in our hearts. The family would like to express their deep thanks to the many people who visited and cared for Peter, especially our good friend Jeff Parsons and the staff at Riverview Health Centre. Prayer service will be held Sunday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Rd. Funeral service will take place at the same location Monday, May 15 at 11:00 am followed by coffee. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers and should family and friends so desire, donations may be made to the Andreas Wall Education Trust at either service. Arrangements entrusted to Vita Funeral Homes Vita Chapel 425-3114.
