GEORGE FREDERICK MURRAY Peacefully, on Sunday, May 7, 2006, after a lengthy illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of George, at the age of 65 years. Left to cherish George's memory are his special friend Charles; his loving sister Darlene Rutherford (Don) of Fallbrooke, ON; Aunt Irene (Murray), Art Campbell of Almonte, ON; sister-in-law Karen of Perth, ON; nieces, Lisa Rutherford and Heidi Murray of Perth, ON; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Agnes Murray, Lake (Arden); grandparents, William and Agnes Murray; as well as his brother Bill Murray of Perth, ON. George was a chef for approximately 40 years of his life. He enjoyed working in the North and had a love for the wild. No formal funeral service will be held in Winnipeg, MB. Interment will take place in Pinehurst Cemetery, Fallbrooke, ON, at a later date. Our family would like to give a special thank you to Charles David Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Campbell of Almonte, ON, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Fee of Ashton, ON, family and friends, as well as to Richard Wojcik of Wojcik's Funeral Chapel. Donations in George's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
