EDITH HAWKINS It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Edith Hawkins on Sunday, May 14, 2006. She was predeceased by her parents Irma and Bela Mehesz and her husband Frank Hawkins in 1978. Edith will be sadly missed by her daughter Donna (Greg); sister Margaret; her nieces, nephews and many friends. Edith was born and raised in Winnipeg and lived here all her life. She loved the simple pleasures in life: gardening, bowling, going for coffee with her friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her daughter and their shared love for animals. Viewing will be held on Thursday morning, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a private ceremony to be held on Friday.
