ETTA MABEL (GEE) MAYO Mom passed away peacefully on May 11, 2006 in Edmonton, AB, at the age of 106 years. Predeceased by her husbands Edwin Wiley and Frank Mayo; brothers Elmer, Murray and Russell Gee; sister Verna Phillips; sons Ronald and Mervin Wiley; son-in-law Allan Webster; daughter-in-law Myrtle Wiley; great grand-daughter Tari Pedersen. Mom will be fondly remembered by her daughters Florence (Dave) Ryder of Kelowna, BC, June Webster of Winnipeg; son Kenneth Wiley, Lethbridge, AB; daughter-in-law Kay Wiley, Edmonton, AB; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mom was born in the Neepawa district on July 3, 1899 to Ernest and Maude Gee. After he marriage to Edwin Wiley, they moved to Portage la Prairie. Upon the death of our Dad, Mom moved to Edmonton where she met and married Frank Mayo and resided there until her death. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date in Portage La Prairie. As expressions of sympathy, donations to your choice of charity would be appreciated.
