DAVID HUGH MURRAY 1932 - 2006 It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of David Hugh on May 14, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack David Murray and Elizabeth Ruth (Hart), as well as his aunt and uncle D.W. Ackland. Hugh started work for CP Rail Express in 1951 where he worked until his retirement at age 55. He was active with the H.Y. Knocks bowling league and he loved spending his leisure time at his Granite Lake cottage. Hugh made many lifelong friends from work and play. He leaves to mourn his wife of 37 years Denise (Bremner) and his sister Ann Murray, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Hugh was a pillar of strength, personality, and character. He will be dearly missed by all of us who knew him. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who were involved in Hugh's care. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. Interment will be held after the service at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. and a reception will be held at Brian and Robin Dunsterville, 6 Oakdale Dr., (North of Roblin). Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2 or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 in David's memory.
