WILLIAM FERRIS MACLEAN Wednesday, May 17, 2006 Bill MacLean passed away in the Kipnes Veterans Hospital in Edmonton, AB. Bill was born in Winnipeg in 1919; the only son of the late Emily Ada (nee Ferris) and Donald Robert Campbell MacLean. He is survived by his son Donald MacLean (Gisela) and their three daughters of Edmonton; his daughter Marguerite and her husband Blaine Deleeuw and one daughter of Edmonton; his son James MacLean (Kathleen) and one daughter of White Rock BC; also his three sisters of Winnipeg, Alix Donald (William), Patricia Swanlund (Peter), Daphne Thomson (Bill); plus many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Donalda Robinson (Walter) of Camrose, AB. Bill was educated in Winnipeg and flew missions overseas in the RCAF during the Second World War. He worked for the T. Eaton Co.; later branching out into the Life Insurance business. Bill was very family oriented all his life; kind, gentle, generous; and with a well developed sense of humour; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him and remembered with much affection.
