Mom was an avid reader, and loved gardening, picking wild berries, working on the farm raising chickens and selling eggs. She also loved her tea; the grandchildren were served tea in her china cups. She continued the tradition of serving tea to the great-grandchildren and was known to them as Grandma Jo. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and loved the family get-togethers. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Granma Jo 'saved best for last'. We started visiting Grandma/Grandpa a lot when we moved from Saskatoon 5 years ago, and they had grace not to ask questions. Her&Grandpa were our 'Haven' more than we will ever admit. When '04 XmasCard saidthevisits 'made life more bearable', we were relieved to hear they too enjoyed the visits. We respect you, we love you but we will miss you. It is so sad you have gone, but we are grateful for your time with us. Please know the impact you& Grandpa had will be with us for generations to come. Bruce L. - Posted by: Bruce L (Family) on: May 21, 2006
