EDWARD WILLIAM EMEL 1942 - 2006 After a lengthy illness, in Toronto Ed passed away on May 14, 2006. Ed was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. In 1964 he married Evelyn Flett, and in 1968 their only child Eddie Jr. was born. Soon after, Ed along with his wife and son moved to Toronto, where he resided until his death. His wife Evelyn predeceased him in 1996. Ed will be very fondly remembered by his sisters Marilyn Smith (Bernie), Rosalie Goodale (Dennis), Lynda Wood (Keith), his two sisters-in-law Lois Manning (Bob), Gerry Grant, and his mother-in-law Jean Flett, along with many nieces and nephews. Ed's great personality always shone through and we all enjoyed great family gatherings. He will forever be missed by us all.
