EDITH PACHAL Edith Pachal passed away peacefully on May 18, 2006 at the age of 82 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Elizabeth (John) Cherewayko and their children, Kim (Joe) Tyson and Brad Cherewayko; son Alf (Bev) and their children, Amanda and Meagan; grandson Dwayne Peters (LeAnne); great- grandson Cameron Tyson; one brother Ewald Keil and one brother-in-law Albert Oswald. She was predeceased by her husband Emil, her daughter Phyllis and son-in-law Jake. Mom worked for many years at the sewing factory and then at Friendly Family Farms. She truly loved working and still spoke of her work days with great joy. With retirement came more time for knitting which she did until her last days at home. Her greatest joys of all were her grandchildren. Her diaries noted every visit and phone call from them. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach, MB with Pastor Al Maier officiating.
