Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDUARDO MEDEIROS It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather on May 17, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Eduardo was predeceased by his wife Olivia; daughter Maria; sister Maria Dirce; and grandsons, Justin and Tyler. He is survived by sons, Horacio (Gail), Orlando (Charlene), Eduardo and Joe; by grandchildren, Kerry (Celine), Darcy (Luis), Dwayne (Charlene); Paul George (Crystal), Tracy (Tyler), Donny (Diane), Dina, Mikey (Cheryl), Brandon; Serena (Ryan), Eduardo Timothy, Dorothy, Jessica and nine great-grandchildren and one brother Maximinio (Maria); numerous nieces and nephews. Eduardo was born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal on August 10, 1922. He Immigrated to Canada in 1957 and went to work for CNR railway in Vancouver. In 1960 he brought his beloved wife Olivia and his four sons to Winnipeg. He worked for the railway until his retirement in l987. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the wonderful staff of the 2nd floor Cornish Two of Misericordia Hospital for their great kindness, care and prolonging his life with lots of laughter and jokes. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 23, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception to follow. Fr. Vince Herner officiating. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the charity of one's choice.
