Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(ETTA) MUSETTA PEARL FRANCEN October 5, 1907 May 19, 2006 Etta Francen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, May 19, 2006 in McCreary, Manitoba at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her son Maurice (Dolores) Francen of Winnipeg; sister Nola (Ross dec.) McKenzie of McCreary; brother Lorne Kennedy of Stony Creek, Ontario as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Etta was predeceased by her husband Oscar Pete Francen; parents George and Mary Kennedy; 2 sisters; 7 brothers and 1 brother in law. Etta was born in Walla Walla, Washington, U.S.A. in 1907 and the family moved to Canada when she was 3. They settled in the McCreary area where she later met and married Pete. During their married life they traveled throughout Manitoba as Pete's work moved around the province. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Family for a Graveside Service at McCreary Municipal Cemetery on Thursday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. with Jona Weitzel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Etta's memory can be made to Central Plains Cancer Care, 318 Saskatchewan Avenue East, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba R1N 0K8.
