Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER ROBB WATT March 15, 1920 - January 17, 2006 Alex passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre on January 17, 2006. Alex suffered a stroke in 2001, which left him unable to communicate fully (Aphasia). Alex was predeceased by his wife Edith in September 1991. He is survived by his sisters, Elaine (George) Mitchell, Phyllis (Walter) Born, Betty and Margaret; several nieces and nephews. Alex joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941 and served overseas with the R.A.F. as a Wireless Air Gunner for three years being honourably discharged in September 1945. After the war he obtained employment with Canada Post retiring after 39 years of service. Alex was a member of the Wartime Pilots' and Observers' Assoc., the Ex-Air Gunners', Charleswood Legion Branch No. 100 and the Heritage Club. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery.
