Born: Dec 31, 1925
Date of Passing: May 21, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET SOPHIA LEGARDE-GIBSON MULLIN December 31, 1925 - May 21, 2006 A Celebration to honour Violet's life will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Anishinabe Fellowship Centre, 287 Laura Street, Winnipeg, MB at 7:30 p.m. Nana's life ministry was dedicated to children, whom she loved dearly. Mum treasured music, singing, and hymns, and despite her disabilities she was irrepressible and active. She light-heartedly thought of herself as the reverend mother. Violet was predeceased by her husband James Alexander Mullin, her grandson Steven Alexander and her sister Ivene Sinclair. She was fiercely proud of her brother William James Gibson (Stella) and her children, William James (Janet - Alvina [Terry {Morgan (Mason)}]); Reverend Margaret Ivene; David Sinclair (Teresa - Celeste [Mark], Angela [Chancey {Zachary}], Tamara {baby x and y}); and Ira Frederick Gibson (Wendy - Joshua, Meta). No flowers please. Donations may be made to Winnipeg Inner City Missions, House of Hope Project, P.O. Box 2444, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4A7.
