ROSS WAYNE CLARKE Ross passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Cory and Scott (Sasha). Ross is also survived by father-in-law Bob McConnell; brother-in-law Wayne (Barb); nieces, Jacquie (Marlin) and Tamara (Grady); nephew Brad (Stephanie). Ross was predeceased by his wife Bev; parents, Walter and Edith; and mother-in-law Dawn. Ross was born in Montreal on February 4, 1948. He began his career in sales in Eastern Canada moving to Winnipeg, in 1974. Bev and Ross were married in 1975 and formed their own company in 1982. Ross had many interest including curling, breakfast with the guys, motorcycles, boats, and socializing with neighbours and friends. A private family interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Ross' life will be held on Monday, May 29, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Deer Lodge Curling Club, 425 Woodlawn St. The family would like to thank the neighbours and friends for all their support during Ross' illness. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ross' memory may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of your choice.
