DOROTHY IRENE SCARLETT (DODY CRAIG) (nee SUMNER) Born April 21, 1921, soared to heaven May 22, 2006. Our beautiful mother leaves to mourn six children, Robert, Sheryl (Ron predeceased), Wendy (John), Grant (Pat), Barry (Corrine), Lori (John), nine grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Mom was born and raised in Weston where she resided most of her life. In later years she moved to Charleswood to be close to her daughter Lori and her family. Mom was a warm and generous spirit who taught us strength and courage. We will miss her more than words can say. Our heartfelt thanks to all the people who cared for Mom in her home at Eastern Star. Thank you to nurses Colleen, Tina and Dr. Joshua of the Grace Hospital and family physician Dr. A. Mellon for their care and compassion for our Beloved Mother . A memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 25 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (Aubrey Street entrance), at 10:00 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
