CHRISTOPHER F. WANSBUTTER October 22, 1954 May 22, 2006 It is with love and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Wansbutter in Winnipeg. Remaining to cherish his memory is Marilyn, his loving wife of 24 years; his father, Edward Wansbutter and wife Elena; his brother, Richard and wife, Barbara and their children, Jessica and Nicholas and wife, Monika; his sister, Antoinette Ciwko and husband, Ray and their children Erin and Ryan. Chris was predeceased by his mother, Hedy Wansbutter. Chris was born in Winnipeg and grew up in East Kildonan. He graduated from the University of Manitoba and found his vocation with a rewarding career at Air Canada commencing in 1980. Chris was always helping others and was a loyal and caring friend. He took great pleasure in spending time with family and friends, and in particular with his nephews and nieces. He enjoyed travelling, motorcycling, waterskiing and occasionally farming with his in-laws. His passion for cars was obvious to all who knew him. The Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. followed by Prayers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26 in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. with reception to follow.
