BARRY WILLIAM MILNE It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother and son, Barry William Milne, on May 19, 2006, in Gladstone, MB. Barry was born on August 10, 1942 and spent his early years on the family farm near Gladstone. Although he was a bright student who graduated from high school at the age of 16 and went on to attain a civil engineering degree from the University of Manitoba, his true passion was always farming. It was, therefore, very comforting to know that his last moments were spent where he had always been the happiest. Barry was predeceased by his father, William, in 1978 and by his wife, Betty, in 1996. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother Carol; his brother Bob and wife Sandy; sister Helen and husband James; sister-in-law Cathy and husband Pat; cousins, nieces, nephews, stepchildren and numerous friends. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, at the Gladstone United Church, Gladstone, MB with Rev. Ian Olive officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Clarke's Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements.
